Maggie Brown Turner MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Maggie Brown Turner, Widow of Rev. Joseph Turner Sr., was born on August 23, 1924, in Huger, SC, to the late Fred and Rebecca Brown. She was the eldest of five children. Mrs. Turner entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2023, in Mt. Pleasant, SC, at the age of 99 years old. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Greater Goodwill AME Church, 2818 N Hwy. 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466. The Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Greater Goodwill AME Church, 2818 N Hwy. 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466, 11:00 a.m. She is survived by her four sons: Joseph (Mary Alice) Turner Sr., Earl (Betty) Turner Sr., Alfred (Roslyn) Turner Sr., Abraham (Linda) Turner; two daughters: Victoria (Elijah) Ford, JoAnn Phillips; an adopted daughter: Cynthia Moore; Sister: Rebecca Ellington; and niece, Bella Cousette; forty-four grandchildren, sixty-one great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Joseph Turner Sr.; Children: Mrs. Laura Campbell, Mr. Marion Turner Sr., Mrs. Eartha Lee Ferguson, Mr. David Turner Sr., and Mrs. Maybell Green.
