Macy Elizabeth Humbert Smith Moncks Corner - Macy Elizabeth Humbert Smith, 77, of Moncks Corner, wife of John Wesley Smith, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 3 o'clock at Hopewell Baptist Church, 6869 Parkers Ferry Rd., Adams Run, SC 29426. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ark of SC, 502 W. 5th N. St., Summerville, SC 29483. Elizabeth was born on August 2, 1943 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Rev. William Stephen and Macy Elizabeth McCaskill Humbert. She graduated from St. Paul's High School. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband John are: three children: Shannon Gayle Smith Mallard (Michael) of Moncks Corner, John W. Smith, Jr. (Donna) of Charleston, and Stacy Elizabeth Smith Divens (Ken) of Pittsburg, PA; six grandchildren: John Michael Mallard, Dr. Matthew Shawn Mallard, Catherine Michelle Belcher, Macy Elizabeth Divens, Kenny R. Divens, and Rachel Nicole Smith; and three siblings: William S. Humbert, Jr. (Cindy) of Charleston, Julian Neil Humbert (Linda) of Summerville and Jenny Ruth Tuller of NC.
