Peace be with Lynnard and the Geddis family. I knew Lynnard for many years through the Electrical Trade. I enjoyed the conversations we had every year and the many laughs we shared. You were a wonderful friend!

I am so sorry to learn of the untimely passing if Lynnard. I met him through my Cousin Aaliyah when he took a job here in Boston. They shared a long and meaningful relationship. They shared a love of family and supported the other's family. I became an extension of that family connection in Boston. Always with a heart for service, he lent his skills to assisting me a few times. I so admired how he cared so lovingly for his mother and was totally devoted to family. He will always be remembered as a stand up guy. My condolences to his family. He is now with our Lord, may his loved ones be comforted.

We were so fond of Lynnard! Through many great conversations we shared experiences about spending time in Washington DC , growing up in the 70s and so many other things that inspired great laughter and wonderful memories. Always calling to check on us and helping us out in any way that he could. Lynnard was a good friend and a good guy who loved his friends. He is missed and will be remembered forever more.

Lynnard and his family have always been like family to us. His mother, whom we lovingly called Momma Geddis, was like a sister to my husband´s mother and a godmother to my husband-so she took me in as her daughter too. She was the best cook, and her beautiful Charleston-style home was the heart of so many unforgettable gatherings.
Whenever my husband and I traveled back to Charleston, both families-Momma Geddis, Lynnard, Anice, and sometimes Gwen when she could make it from Atlanta-would come together for meals, laughter, and love. Lynnard, her only son, carried himself with the confidence and style she poured into him. He was always the best dressed, always had the nicest cars, and lived life wherever he chose.
To me, Lynnard was like a brother. After the family meals were done, the three of us-my husband, Lynnard, and I-would always find somewhere to go, just to enjoy ourselves and make more memories. Those were such good times.
I will miss the sound of his distinguished voice calling my name whenever he phoned just to catch up. He checked on me with the care of a big brother, even though he was younger. His love always showed. That was simply who he was.
My heart is truly broken over his passing. I will forever cherish the joy, the laughter, and the family bond we shared.
