Lynn Rabin Koenig CHARLESTON - Lynn Rabin Koenig entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of Thursday, November 5, 2009. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Koenig are invited to attend her funeral services Sunday, November 8, 2009 at one-thirty o'clock at the graveside in Emanu-El Cemetery, Maryville, Sycamore Street, Charleston, SC 29407. Mrs. Koenig, widow of Sidney W. Koenig, was born March 26, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Hyman Rabin and Anna Ginsburg Rabin. She was a member of Synagogue Emanu-El. Mrs. Koenig graduated from the Pratt Institute of Fashion Design in New York City. She worked for many years in the fashion industry in Manhattan. She moved to Charleston in 1955 with her family and was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Koenig is survived by her daughters, Shelley K. Solomon and husband Sanford H. Solomon and Maxanne K. Abrams and husband Donald L. Abrams, all of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by her four grandsons, Brad A. Solomon and Ryan S. Solomon of Charlotte, NC, Jeffrey D. Abrams of Atlanta, GA, and Kevin M. Abrams of Auburn, AL.
