Lynda Bessinger Clifton Summerville - Lynda Bessinger Clifton, 73, of Summerville, wife of Larry Stephen Clifton, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at her residence. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 11 o'clock until hour of Service at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1 o'clock. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road, #130, Charleston, SC 29407. Lynda was born on September 24, 1945 in Orangeburg, SC, daughter of the late Joe and Helen Bessinger. She graduated from Ashley Hall in Charleston, SC. She enjoyed working out at the gym with her husband Larry but most of all enjoyed running. Survivors including her husband Larry of 30 years are: one son: Grant Williams of Mt. Pleasant; one daughter: Jennifer Crouse of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren: Jackson Crouse, Phoebe Crouse, Morgan Crouse and Nate Crouse; two brothers: David Bessinger (Kay) of Ridgeville and Steve Bessinger: of Summerville.
