ABERNATHY, Lynda Lynda May Abernathy, 54, wife of Danny Steven Abernathy, of Summerville, died Monday, March 20, 2006, in a local hospital. Memorial funeral services will be held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville, SC, Thursday morning, March 23, 2006, at 10 o'clock. Burial will be private. Friends may call this Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, 215 East Bay Street, Suite 204, Charleston, SC 29401. Mrs. Abernathy was born November 3, 1951, in Fairfield, CA, a daughter of Jack and Georgia Rodgers DeBoyce. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Danny Steven Abernathy and one son, Steve Abernathy, both of Summerville; one daughter, Candy Abernathy of Moncks Corner; one sister, Tina Bustos of California and three granddaughters. My deepest condolensce & sympathy to the Abernaty family. I was introduced to Ms.Lynda by her daughter Candy several years ago, when Candy & I worked together at Winn-Dixie. Candy & Tessa my thoughts & prayers are with you.
