In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

To my family thank God for allowing Grandma Jackson to be with us for 103 years. I remember that we used to go to Grandma Jackson house every Sunday after church. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed. I never met any of my grandparents because they all passed away when I was a baby so all I knew was Grandma Jackson. Take your rest. You will be missed

To the family of Mother Jackson, may the peace of God the Father, and the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit, keep you as you go through this very sad time in your life. Even though Mother Jackson lived a full life, we will all still miss her dearly. It is good to know however, that the memories of this woman of God will linger in the hearts of all who came in contact with her forever.
