L.V. Gillard Obituary

GILLARD, L.V. HOLLY HILL, S.C. - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Holly Hill, SC. The Reverend Robert Primus, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the New Jerusalem Church Cemetery in Holly Hill, SC. Mr. Gillard died on Thursday, March 17. He was born in Cross, S.C., a son of the late James and Addia Gillard. He grew up in Cross and attended the public schools there. He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Mr. Gillard was predeceased by one son, Ervin Lambright and four sisters, Mrs. Miraha Gillard, Ms. Ida Gillard, Mrs. Essie Pinckney and Mrs. Jessie Mae Jackson. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Banks Gillard, three daughters, Aldrenia Crump of New York, NY, Helen (Willis) McMillan and Annette of Etheridge, all of Holly Hill, SC; three sons Leroy Lambright of Myrtle Beach, SC, William Lambright and William Etheridge, both of Holly Hill, SC; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
