Luther Henry Robertson, Jr. JOHNS ISLAND - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Tuesday, May 8, 2012, Luther Henry Robertson, Jr., 82, husband of Angie Zander Robertson of Johns Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Robertson are invited to attend the funeral services of the former Friday, May 11, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Born January 28, 1930 in Charleston, SC, Luther was the son of Luther Henry Robertson, Sr. and Helen Couch Robertson. Luther was a retired plumber and pipefitter with CF McCreary, and was a member of Plumbers Union Local. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Johns Island. Surviving are his wife Angie Zander Robertson of Johns Island; two daughters, Kim Williams (Dawson) of Summerville, SC, and Lisa Glover (David) of Charleston, SC; two sons, Ashley L. Robertson (Carol) of Irmo, SC and William H. Robertson of California; a sister, Florrie Lingo (Norman) of Missouri; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Zander Robertson. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
