MINTON, Luther Entered into eternal rest on June 15, 2005, Luther David Minton, husband of Margaret McGonigal. Residence, James Island, SC. Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Minton are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial of the former in Nativity Catholic Church, Friday, June 17, 2005 at Two O'clock. The Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Thursday from Six until Eight O'clock, where a vigil will be held at Six-thirty O'clock. Luther was born in Palatka, FL., April 2, 1937, the son of Albert Kern Minton and Winnie Couliette Minton. He was a truck driver for Nabisco and a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife of James Island, SC; 2 daughters, Susie M. Beal and her husband Carl of Charlotte, NC, and Ann Minton of North Charleston, SC; 4 sons, Luke Minton of North Charleston, SC, Frank Minton and Felix Minton both of James Island, SC, and John Minton of Ladson, SC; 2 brothers, Kenneth Minton of Atlanta, GA, and Glenn Minton of Phoenix, AZ; 3 sisters, Louise M. Murphy and Betty Marie Minton both of Gainsville, FL, and Lorraine McClellan of Palakta, FL; 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, and Carey Minton.
