Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. May you find comfort in your memories and peace that Luther is with God. Much love to all of you.

Uncle Edward was a man who loved his family and cherished the friendship of his longtime coworkers at the Naval Yard. He dearly loved Charleston and was always a willing tourguide during our visits. During the last year he relocated to a full care facility in North Augusta so my father and I could help care for him. I will always cherish the many nights I spent with him listening to stories of his travels to Mexico with Mr. Byrd and his long time ship yard coworker Mr. Gilmore. Even during his last weeks he kept up his quick wit and humor that made him a favorite of the nursing staff at his care facility. Gob Bless Uncle Edward.
