Mrs. Bennett is the widow of Mr. James Bennett; the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter H. and Maggie T. Goodwater; the mother of Mrs. Janice R. Alston (Earl), Mrs. Lue R. Vanderhorst (Frankie), Mrs. Chiquita B. Chapman (Rozer), Ms. Lucinda T. Bennett and the late Mrs. Margaret Johnson; the sister of Ms. Virginia Pinckney (Rev. Henry Pinckney), Mrs. Emma Jean Manigault (Edmund) and Mr. Waverly Goodwater. Mrs. Bennett was 86 years old and a retired caregiver and custodial worker. W.M.
