Lucille Moorer Davis N. CHARLESTON - Mother Lucille Moorer Davis, 96, of North Charleston, South Carolina answered the Master's call, exchanging time for eternity on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. A Hat and Pearl Service of Triumph celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Sounds of Praise, 351 Greyback Road, Summerville, SC, Apostle Allen H. Simmons, Pastor; Bishop Tyrone Davis, Eulogist. Interment, Island Cemetery, Santee, SC. The remains will lie in-state from 9:45 a.m. until the service hour. Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, at The Palmetto Mortuary, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wife of the late Deacon Emmett Davis, Mother Davis leaves fond memories to be cherished by her children: Mrs. Ivory Pooser, Mrs. Willie Dean Cummings, Mrs. Doris Twiggs (George), Mr. Jackie Lee Davis (Mattie), Deacon Hiram E. Davis and Bishop Tyrone L. Davis (Beverly); eighteen grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
