Mrs Lucy was a person I truly enjoyed knowing. I have a lot of memories of her and doctor Rush from my childhood that I have always cherished. She was a delight with a quick wit and charming smile. Truly she will be missed.

Doc,I was heart broken to learn today about Mrs. Lucie passing. I am so sorry that I was not there to pay my respects properly. Papa and Grandma would be very disappointed. Some of my fondest memories from childhood include both of you. Lucie was a the most beautiful woman I ever knew on the inside and out. She had a grace and confidence that made a impression on me as a small child. My heart goes out to you and your children for your loss. Dwayne and I will continue to remember you in our prayers. God bless you and keep you.

Dr. Rush & Betsy, Freddie & I were so sorry to read of Mrs. Rush's passing. Your family was always to special to the entire family of GK & Mildred Young back when we were all a little younger. Dr. Rush, you pierced my ears soon after I married Freddie & you put red antiseptic all over my ear and neck. When I looked in the mirror I thought I was bleeding to death! Well, I have survived. Betsy, you may not remember, but I was your 3rd grade teacher. I loved you & that class so much. What a pleasure to have had that opportunity. God bless all of you. Ellen Young
