MYERS, JR., Loy Mr. Loy G. 'Skip' Myers, Jr., age 58, husband of Kaye Polk Myers, of North Charleston, passed away at his home on Monday, September 22, 2008. Friends and family of Mr. Loy G. Myers are invited to attend his funeral service today, Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 3:00 pm at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm. Burial will be private. Mr. Loy Gale Myers, Jr. was born on October 21, 1949 in Celina, OH to the late Mr. Loy G. Myers, Sr. and Mrs. Mary J. Reineke Myers. He was a welder with a local construction company. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and boating. Survivors include his wife of over 20 years, Mrs. Kaye Polk Myers of North Charleston; his mother, Mrs. Mary J. Myers of Pahokee, FL; one son Harley Myers, and his wife Angela, of Orlando, FL; three step-sons, Adam Penny, Nick Penny and Dennis Penny all of Chesterfield, SC; one sister, Cindy McKinstry, and her husband, Buddy, of Loxahachee, FL; and one grandson, Tristan Myers of Orlando, FL.
