Louis Kaufman Obituary

KAUFMAN, Bob Entered into eternal rest on the morning of May 1, 2006, Louis R. Bob Kaufman, widower of Florence Zitkowski Kaufman. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services at the graveside in Emanu-El Cemetery, Maryville Sunday, May 7, 2006 at eleven-thirty o'clock. Mr. Kaufman was born May 2, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Abraham Kaufman and Sarah Kline Kaufman. He retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard after thirty-four years and then joined the Robert Bosch Company for ten years. He was a member of Solomon's Lodge #1 AFM, a member of the 32ndDegree Scottish Rite, Omar Shrine Temple, Past Master of Felicity Lodge, and B.P.O. Elks Lodge #242. He was a United States Army Veteran during World War II. He is survived by one daughter: Ronnie K. Bahan of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren: Michael Perez and his wife Sherry of Colorado Springs, CO and Tracey Koehlmoos and her husband Randall of Annandale, VA; four great-grandchildren, Andrea Perez, Robert, Michael, and David Koehlmoos.
