Oh my sweet high school friend Lori. I will never forget the funny times we spent dancing around your bedroom, listening to Queen and going to the beach. You and I are both tall. I remember feeling very uncomfortable about that. But when I was around you, I never thought about it. I still remember it as if it were just yesterday. Thank you for always making me feel comfortable.

Thank you for all the years of laughter. You were the funniest person I knew. We shared so much of our lives together. The last 7 years have been especially good ones. We may have been separated for 30 years, because life got in the way but 7 years ago we picked up like that separation had never happened. From age 12 to 60 we were BFF's. We can all say that because she made us feel that way, didn't she? I will never forget you. Our memories will last forever. Thank you for being there. Now you are without pain inside and out.

Lori had the most contagious smile and the highs pitch laughter. She kept Christie Joseph and I up-to-date on the top 40 tunes. We gave one another the assignment of translating the top 10, bring them in for comparison and critique, then placed the winner into "The Songs We Loved and Sometimes We Didn't" special binder. Lori was the last holder and vowed to pass it along if she and I or Christie and she, crossed paths in our adulthood and inquired of the binder. We sort of had the first "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," but ours was more like, "Sisterhood of the Traveling Music Binder."
Well, my friend, thank you for the blessed friendship we shared. I will always have a special place in my heart for you.. I'll stop by and say "Hello," on The Stairway to Heaven."
