Loretta Brown N. CHARLESTON - Ms. Loretta Brown, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2024. Ms. Brown was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Mattie Hilton, the mother of Walter J. Brown (Shirley Douglas), Debra L. Brown, Loretta D. Brown - Morris (Jeffrey), two children preceded her in death; Nefertiti Wright and Bartholomew Brown, the sister of James Hilton (Sally), Welborn Hilton (Shannon), Rev. William F. Hilton, Alphonso Hilton (Bertha) and Barbara Hitch (Gerald), the grandmother of 53 grands, great-grands and great-great-grands. The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 5371 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC. She will be laid to rest in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Ladson, SC. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
