Lorena Counts Obituary

Ms. Lorena was one of my favorite patients to work with. She had such a kind and loving heart and I always was able to enjoy a good laugh with her! She will be greatly missed. Praying for your family during this time.

Thirty years ago I was at the checkout in Bi-Lo. Sister came up behind me. I hadn't seen her since high school graduation. I was short and she offered to cash a $10.00 check for me. It may have been just another random act of kindness to her, but I have never forgotten it. Thank you Sister for showing me what compassion looks like. Rest in Peace

My heart breaks hearing this news. Mrs. Counts was a treasure in my life. She started out as my 2nd grade teacher but quickly became a huge part of my life. I was so honored to be able to be a part of her wedding. I absolutely loved running in to her out and about through the years. It was like we never missed a beat. My prayers are with all that are left to miss her precious presences.
