Lonnie Mae Edwards-Smalls Mt. Pleasant - Mrs. Lonnie Mae Edwards-Smalls, 64, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, the wife of Mr. Harold Smalls entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 05, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Abraham Edwards and Mrs. Estelle Singleton Edwards. Lonnie matriculated through the Charleston County School District, where she graduated from Wando High School in 1974. She also graduated from Charleston Southern University in 1978. Graveside Services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in Greater Goodwill A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 2818 North Highway 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466. Service attendees are required to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. A walk-through viewing will be held at the mortuary this evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Lonnie is also survived by her sons, Derrick Edwards and Harold Smalls, Jr.; grandchildren, Sophia Moore and Jakobi Edwards; siblings: Calvin Edwards (Noami), Abraham Edwards, Sarah Edwards-Hammond, Florence Edwards and Pernell Edwards; sisters-in-law, Tammy Smalls (Daniel) and Kathy Seabrook (Derrick); brothers-in-law, Allen Smalls and Raymond Smalls and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
