Still can't believe that Lola is gone. She had the sweetest soul and was loved by everyone that knew her. Miss you Lola.

Lola was such a sweet and special lady and she is still very much missed.

Remembering my sweet friend Lola today.

I got the pleasure in knowing Lola from a article i was writing about her for the school newspaper.After that interview we became friends and she always encouraged me and was kind to me.I'll never forget her beautiful smile and her kind heart.I guess God needed one of his angels back,rest in peace my friend!

I have known Lola since she was in 7th grade, she and I shared a mutual friend, from the moment I met her, I knew she was special. She had such a sweet spirit about her. We were reconnnected a few years ago when she found me on Facebook and relized her husband and I had mutual friends, SCSU 95, and now we lived in the same state. We spoke for about an hour catching up. I am so glad we shared that moment. I will truely miss her.Blessings, faith and encouragement to her family. You all have your Guarding Angel watching over you now . Peaceful sleep baby girl.

I will miss you.I just spoke to you a few weeks ago.We grew up in same neighborhood and went to middle and high together.RIP

Lola was a great person,always thought of others. I went to school with Lola and had the pleasure of knowing her, I know that she will be missed greatly. God bless her family and give you strength through this time, remember god wants us to rejoice in death and I think thats what Lola would have wanted.

Lola was an amazing person. We did not stay In touch after high school. However, when I watched the memorial video, I was flooded with that beautiful spirit that I remember. A great person taken way too early. May her family be lifted up during this time. My heartfelt condolences to you all.

I had the pleasure of going to RNE with Lola:-) We enjoyed playing sports together where I gave her pointers at landing that perfect set in Volleyball & she schooled me on being a competitive, shooting point guard at Basketball:-D She always had a beautiful glow in her smile that brighten the room. Although we did not stay in touch after HS, I know she lived a fulfilled life enjoying each day with family & friends because that's the person I remembered. She set out to make a difference in many lives & she accomplished that daily. Prayers goes out to all that knew her. Lola will truly be missed but not forgotten. Rest Beautiful Angel.

I had the honor of knowing Lola. We went to the same schools. She was always very sweet and helpful to everyone. She had a great outlook in life. I did not know her after highschool,but from watching the video she was beautiful and had a beautiful family. I know she will be missed by a lot of friends and family. She was my friend, and I will always remember her. God be with all of her friends and family. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I send my heartfelt condolences and prayers to all who loved Lola, especially her husband, son, parents and family members. Lola and I were classmates and, though we were not close friends, I remember her as nothing less than a positive, kind and beautiful person. May you all find comfort in the Lord and in your warm and loving memories.

I have had the privilege of knowing Lola for over 25 years. She was a beautiful person on the inside as well as outside. To know her is to love her she just had that way about her. I am just hearing about Lola's passing and like many others am devastated by this news. Such a beautiful person inside and out; I always told her that! I always admired Lola's caring and fighting spirit, and willingness to help and serve others. own words, I learned about her life and love for God. I am a

RNE alumni....graduated just a few years before Lola. I will be attending her funeral on Monday with a heavy heart because I will not be able to meet this incredible woman who lived a courageous life and inspired me with her testimony. Many prayers sent straight to heaven for Miss Lola's family and friends.
