Lois Earl Obituary

EARL, Lois Lois Boyd Earl, 96, widow of Robert Earl, of Ladson, SC, died Friday, September 29, 2006, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday morning, October 2, 2006, in Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 11 o'clock. Graveside services will be held in Sarah's Chapel Cemetery in Wildwood, Georgia, on Tuesday afternoon, October 3, 2006, at 3 o'clock. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home, Sunday evening from 6 to 8 o'clock. Mrs. Earl was born April 8, 1920, in Sulphur Springs, Alabama, a daughter of Robert Samuel Boyd, Sr., and Annie Walraven Boyd. She grew up in Wildwood, Georgia. She was a retired Piggly Wiggly bakery manager. She was a member of Ladson Baptist Tabernacle. Survivors include two nieces, June Roberts of Wildwood, Georgia, and Helen Brooks of Summerville, South Carolina, and a grand-niece, Joyce Hughes of Summerville, South Carolina. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Samuel Boyd, Jr., and Jessie Boyd and two sisters, Annie Mae Boyd and Irene Holmes.
