Lloyd Young Obituary
Memorial services for Mr. Lloyd Hershell Young, age 68, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Bemis, with Dr. John Adams and Rev. John Norvell officiating.
Mr. Young died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Steele, MO to the late Streety Young and Lizzie Shuburte Young. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a mechanic.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Young and Ed Young, and his sisters, Linda Kelley, Bonnie Young, Christine Young and Rhonda Faye Teal.
Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Young of Jackson; his brothers, Bobby Young and wife Mona of Lakeview, AR, and James Young and wife Lisa of Jackson; his sisters, Ann Bryan and husband Roy of W. Memphis, AR, Dean Gill and husband Jimmy of Blytheville, AR, Maxine Kelly of Missouri, Brenda Connor of Blytheville, AR, Marie Lee and husband Rudy of Jackson, Nancy Young of Jackson, Sheila Young of Arkansas, and Connie White of Missouri; and four grandchildren, Nicki Jones, Max Jones, Jaxon Jones and Jailynn Reynolds.
