Linda Gauley N. CHARLESTON - Linda Diane Gauley, aged 92, passed away on February 3, 2024, in Charleston, SC. Born on December 31, 1931, Linda led a life characterized by resilience, warmth, and a pioneering spirit. Balancing her roles as a devoted homemaker and a career that spanned from programming with punch cards building accounting software to working as a civil servant for the police department, she navigated the complexities of family and career with grace and determination. Beyond her professional achievements, Linda found joy in crocheting, reading, and classical music, reflecting her creative and intellectual interests. These pursuits were more than mere hobbies; they were integral parts of her identity, enriching her life and those around her. Linda's legacy is marked by her strong personality, her passion for life, and the love she shared with her family. Linda is survived by some of her children, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In honoring Linda's wishes, the family will not hold formal services and asks for privacy during this time. As we remember Linda, we celebrate not only her remarkable life but also the enduring impact she has had on her family, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and enduring love.
