Mother - a week gone by and still there are no words to describe the loss I feel since you departed this dimension. There is comfort knowing you are not lost, however; your blessed spirit has journeyed to the perfect realm where others joyously met you in God´s House. From there, I believe you see me in this plane. You will continue to giggle at the ways I treasure our wabi-sabi world. You taught me to perceive the art in life, leading me to embrace the places where love still grows up from the cracks along the way. We became the Kintsugi bowl, and it is refined and beautiful. Until I see you again, I will cherish all the memories we had, and those we dreamed of having. Your awesome blue eyes must really sparkle up there. With love, Deborah

What a lovely tribute to an amazing military wife and strategic partner who truly understood "Duty-Honor-Country!" While the military stood watch across the frontiers on numerous continents, it was always the military spouses who were on the cutting edge to uphold the traditions and customs of our great country and basically took care of the families of our great fighting forces. May God's loving hand guide each family member as they long remember the sterling and everlasting legacy of this truly remarkable American Patriot. Semper Fi!!
