I thank God for giving me one last opportunity to see my beloved, last Aunt, Lillie Bell and to be near her as she took her last breath. This was an opportunity I did not have with her younger sister and my Mom, Nancy S. White when she departed.
Aunt Bell is at peace. God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around her and whispered, "Come to me". Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
No matter how much the photos may fade, they will always be etched in our mind. We now have one more from the family included in "The Epitome of Strong Black Women welcoming others to Glory.

On behalf of Jesus The Christ Church located at 90 Watkin Terrace, in the City of Rochester, NY. Pastor and Founder Britt M. Pledger. We bring you greeting s in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. At this time I would like to extend our condolences to the entire family of the late Mother Willie Bell Giles Smalls, we would also like to acknowledge Mr. & Mrs. James Watson and their family as we have direct relationship with them. The word of God clearly tells us to be absent from the flesh is to be present with the Lord we therefore acknowledge that God His called from amongst us another of His servants. Mother Smalls we believe and trust that at the day of judgment God will say my good and faithful servant what a job well done. We prayer that the power of God will be in the mist as we believe his word, Philippians 4:8 and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Peace is not the absences of turmoil it is the presence of God may the Lord keep you during your time of bereavement. In closing John 141-6 sums it up best “let not your heart be troubled: ye believer in God, believe also in me. In my Fathers house are many mansions; if ti wee not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for r you. And if I go and prepare a for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord we know not whither thou goest and how can we know the way Jesus answered and saith unto him, I am the way , the truth, and the life:no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. May these words encourage your spirit pastor Britt M> Pledger and the Jesus The Christ Church family.
