Svetlana Postnik Obituary

Svetlana Postnik 1935-2011 Mrs. Svetlana Postnik, 76, of 134 Maple Grove Dr., died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Konstantinovka, Ukraine on October 27, 1935 the daughter of Dmitry Kononov and Evgeniya Izmailova she attended schools in the Ukraine. Mrs. Postnik moved to Pittsfield from Konstantinovka 13 years ago with her family. She had previously worked in the Human Resources Department of a Sports Training Center. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Mrs. Postnik was predeceased by her husband, Eduard Postnik, he died in 1987. She leaves a daughter, Galina Zeygerman and her husband Sam Zeygerman, a brother, Valentin Kononov of the Ukraine and two grandchildren, Artem Zeygerman and Vladislav Zeygerman. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Mrs. Svetlana Postnik will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 9 a.m. at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA with Fr. Barnabas Fravel, Parish Priest of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Pittsfield Cemetery.
