I am sorry for your loss.

Winston, Ricky, Lewis. Very sorry to hear about the loss of your father, I know he was loved and admired by many. Praying for peace and comfort for your family

Winston, though I have not seen your father in over 25 years, I remember him like yesterday, and hearing of his death, I cried. He was a Southern Gentleman, and your parents could not have made me feel more welcome in their home. I pray that you, your Mom and brothers find peace and comfort in knowing that he is now with God, he served his Lord well, and he will be with you forever in your hearts and memories.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Beth and I are deeply saddened by Lewis' passing. I had the honor and pleasure to know Lewis from the early 1970s and always enjoyed his company as a fine, polite, and distinguished gentlemen who was an excellent engineer, home builder, and real estate developer and my father's friend and partner. Lewis was always kind and generous with his advice and time and will be sorely missed by all who know him. We join his friends and family in mourning his passing and want them to know that we are thinking of them.

I never had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. White. It is clear that his family, friends and community have suffered a great loss. He has left a wonderful legacy behind. One that I am sure his sons will carryforth.

We will always remember enjoying a wonderful Easter meal with the White family at their beautiful home.We send our prayers and love your way.

Ricky and Lewis, Jr.: I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He was a great man.

It was an honor knowing Mr. White as the grandfather of our daughter-in-law, Emily. Every time we had a chance to speak with him, it was evident he was not only a great man, but a true man of God. My God look after him and the whole White family.

Mr. White was a highly respected
leader and kindhearted member of the Awendaw community. I will miss hearing him speak words of encouragement.Forever grateful for his tutelage. Give thanks unto the Lord for a life well lived.

We enjoyed working with Mr. White. He and I worked together a lot in 1992 getting all the signatures for the Incorporation of the Town. Our working relationship continued when I started working for the Town. Just remember as the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. He was a pleasure to work with and he will be missed.

My prayers are for all of Lewis's
family. May the Lord comfort you in your sorrow. My husband, Henry Elrod built many houses for him and particularly in the Goose Creek area. Lewis was a fine man.

We are deeply sadden by the passing of a dear friend and fellow resident of Awendaw. Lewis and I worked on several projects together for the Town of Awendaw. He will be missed from our presence but will always be in our hearts and memories.
