Dear Smith Family,
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy for your loss. Earl the 3rd and I went to school together; and have been working for the same company now for a little while. I know that Mr. Smith had to have been a fine man because his son certainly is. Earl has told me that his Dad was saved, and I know you can take comfort in knowing that he is now with his Lord and Savior. God bless you and your family.

Sincerely,
Gene
