Lewis Kinard Obituary

Lewis Cleveland Kinard, Sr. MACEDONIA, SC - Lewis Cleveland Kinard, Sr., 84, of Macedonia, SC, a retired millwright for Daniel's Construction, died Saturday at his son's residence. His funeral will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2009, in the Providence Baptist Church, Macedonia. Interment will follow in the Berea United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bethera. Friends may call at DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., this Monday evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Caring Heart Hospice, 6296 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC. Mr. Kinard was born July 19, 1925, in Hampton County, SC, a son of Paul and Bertie Kinard. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and he loved to fish and do small engine repairs. Mr. Kinard was the widower of Frances Thomas Kinard and was preceded in death by a daughter, Bertie K. Yohe. Surviving are, four sons, Louis C. Kinard, Jr., of Alvin, Terry Kinard of Beaver Dam, and Jimmy Kinard and Tony Kinard both of Macedonia; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
