Lessie Sasser Obituary

SASSER, Lessie SYLVANIA, GA - Lessie Dean Sasser, 74, passed away September 8, 2007, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Sasser was born in Talladega, Alabama on January 23, 1933, a daughter of the late Charles Worn Smith and the late Viola Imelda Miller. She was a homemaker and will be sadly missed by her family. Mrs. Sasser was predeceased by her son, Johnny Lee of Washington State. She is survived by her husband, Thaddeus Sasser of Sylvania, Georgia; a daughter, Joyce Isley Setzer and her husband Tommy of Charleston, SC; a son Billy Hal Isley and his wife Jackie of Nashville, Tenn; siblings, Vermel Smith of Wichita Falls, Texas, Dub Smith of Griffin, Georgia, Charles Smith, Leroy Smith, and Judy Renfro all of Jacksonville, Fla., two grandchildren, Tina Russell and Tommy Setzer, Jr. of Charleston, SC; and eight great-grandchildren, Dane Roberts, Evan Roberts, Matthew Russell, Adam Russell, Stephen Russell, Luke Russell, Christopher Setzer and Destiny Setzer.
