Dearest Godfather,
A week ago, I called my mother and told her my dad had visited me for the first time, since he passed away. I was scared, but mom said he was just checking in on me. Now, I know why? You promised him, you would look after me & he knew you were sick. You both left without saying goodbye and my heart is broken...Thank god for the times, I listened in on your conversations, about the love you both had for your girls...so I will hold onto that love in hopes of bonding together with them, the way you guys were. I love you! When Cuz'n Ben and dad open the gates for you, your dinner will be ready, but they will be waiting on your crab cakes, as I always have.
