Leroy Nolan Obituary

I try again to express my condolences to the Noland family, known and unknown. Seeing Leroy after appx 30 yrs when he eulogized my uncle Adam Ferguson, we reminisced our days as baseball and basketball players for Accabee and Mary Ford Elem, respectively. Speaking for all of us who raised with him on the Height,including the Eulogist, desirables and undesirables, we loved him as he did us. To Booker T, Shirley and rest of the family , I reiterate, "Hold on to God's unchanging hands". He knows best.

Just rememeber that through your grief, God will give your a testimony. I can hear Pastor Nolan singing "You ought to run and tell that.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
