Leroy "Butt" "Red Dog" Jenkins Awendaw - Mr. Leroy "Butt" "Red Dog" Jenkins, 82, of Awendaw, SC, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 6, 2021. The family of Mr. Jenkins will celebrate his life with a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church - 5600 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC 29429. There will be a Walk-Through Viewing on Saturday, December 11, 2021, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home, 4129 Highway 17 North, Awendaw, SC 29429. Masks are required for ALL attendees. Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. John Jenkins, Sr. and Mrs. Louise Jenkins and siblings: Sam Jenkins and Lucille Mitchell. He is survived by his loving wife: Mrs. Ester Mae Jenkins; children: Donald Jenkins (Rochelle) and Rev. Linda Warren (John); siblings: Annabelle Porcher, John Jenkins, Jr. (Bernetha) and Ruth Fulton; step-sister: Carolyn Bruce; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
