Leroy Hill Obituary
HILL, Leroy The relatives and friends of Lt. Leroy L. Hill, USN (Ret), are invited to attend his funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Thursday, June 28, 2007 at ten o'clock. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at Stuhr's North Area Chapel, Wednesday, June 27, 2007 from six until eight o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. My dad, Elmer, used to love to tell stories about family. The story he told the most often about Leroy was of an incident during a night watch duty guarding a ship at dock. The story was not of a dramatic event and probably a fairly routine experience for Roy but the love and pride Dad felt for Roy was very evident with each telling.
