Leonard Vance Obituary

Leonard Vance GOOSE CREEK - Leonard Eugene Vance, 82, of Goose Creek, passed away July 21, 2013. Born in Birmingham, IL, he was the son of the late Leondis and Mildred Vance and widow to Betty Vance. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Technical Sergeant. Mr. Vance was a member of the American Legion and The Forty and Eight. He was a hardworking man who loved being with his family. Mr. Vance is survived by his three sons, Charles Vance of Goose Creek, Jack Vance of Fayetteville, NC and Jim Vance and wife Cecila of Anchorage, AK; great-granddaughter, Tatum Vance. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. The family will receive friends prior to service from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Online condolences can be sent to www.mcalister-smith.com.
