Leonard Lord Obituary

Leonard Eugene Lord GOOSE CREEK - Mr. Leonard Lord, 78, was called home on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Mr. Lord was born in Commerce, Georgia, the son of Walter and Rena Adams Lord. He served 24 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1975. He served all over the world, including tours in both Vietnam and Korea. He spent many hours on the water and shared his love and knowledge of fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, a cherished father and beloved grandfather. Mr. Lord was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Freda. He is survived by their children David Lord (Lynne), Carolyn Headrick (Bob), Stephen Lord (Aileen), Robert Lord (Donna), twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Inurnment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
