Farbman, beloved husband of Paula Farbman (nee Steinberg); adored father of Jack Farbman of Baltimore, MD, Ellen de Castro Farbman Goldman of Potomac, MD, Douglas Farbman of Baltimore, MD, and Howard Farbman of Baltimore, MD; dear father-in-law of Ted Goldman, Andrea Farbman, and Dana Farbman; cherished brother of Karolyn Betty Farbman Solomon of CA, and the late Dr. David Solomon; loving brother-in-law of Samuel and Sunny Steinberg of Charleston, SC; beloved grandfather of Rachel, David, and Sarah Farbman, Alex, Joanna, and Eli Goldman, Adam, Brian, Emily, Julie, and Annie Rose Farbman. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Wednesday, August 11, at 1 p.m. Interment Oheb Shalom Memorial Park - Berrymans Lane. Please omit flowers. Dear Mrs. Farbman, Jack, Ellen, Ted, Doug, Andrea, Howard and Dana, The heart from my family goes out to all of you at this tender time. Mr Farbman was a man's man in every sense of the word. From what I witnessed he was a good husband and a GREAT Dad! A rugged man who loved horses, work and his family. Mr. Farbman gave me 2 things I need most in my life, I had just come out of College and was newly married, when he encouraged me and gave me much needed wisdom. He told me to work hard in whatever profession I chose, pay my taxes, bcz, that meant I was making money, he said, the most important thing in life is family, looking back his words really ring true and I am grateful and thankful for him taking the time to speak with me and the kindness he showed me. I Psalm 30 verses 11 & 12....You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever. I love Mr. Farbman, I will miss his smile and his laugh but most of all I will miss him. My heart is heavy and I will be praying for all of you during this difficult time. Love Jim G. and family
