To Mrs Margaret Ficklin and Family sorry for the lost of your brother, you have my deepth sympathy.

A terrible illness took this great man from a community that loved him because of all of the hard work he did. God has taken him because God needs his smile, strong hands, and gentle spirit. Leon fought for many people to get city water, sewer, and zoning for their properties in Hollywood. He moved and shook everyone until they moved in his way. Bernice repaid his love and never gave up. We all feel your loss.

Bernice and family. I am so sorry to hear of Leon's transition. He worked so hard to change the polling place for the voters in hollywood. That included going to columbia several times to speak with some senators. He was a good person to represent and put such hard work in upgrading the system for his people. Now he can rest in peace. God bless you all.
