My Beloved Brother,
I will miss your quiet strength and love. I know that you watch over me still as you always did in life. My heart is lifted by the knowledge that you have finally found everlasting peace and happiness in our Father's arms. We will be together again one day. I know this to be true because you never broke a promise to me, and you promised you would be waiting for me when I get to heaven. I can feel you loving me still from afar and drying my tears. Until we meet again brother.

I was so sorry to read about your loss. I proably only saw Leon a few times since high school but on each of those times we had a laugh about some of our days at KSHS. I'll remeber his smile and his laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

May God comfort the family of Leon. I worked with Leon for a short while at Coca Cola. His spirit still lives in his love ones.May God Bless. Leon will be remembered.

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES TO HIS ONLY CHILD CLINT MCMAKIN , YOUR DADDY TAUGHT ME TO HUNT AND SHOOT A GUN WHICH WILL ALWAYS BE MY FONDEST MEMORIES OF HIM ,HE WILL BE SADLEY MISSED BY ALL OF HIS FRIENDS IT IS STILL HARD TO BELIEVE HE HAS LEFT THIS WORLD. HOPE HE RIDING HORSEBACK INTO THE SUNSET ACROSS THE FIELDS AND FISHING FOR THAT BIG BASS IN CALM WATERS .IT IS TRULEY A SAD DAY FOR US ALL THAT HAVE COME TO KNOW HIM WELL .

I was truly sorry to hear of Leon's passing. I really enjoyed the days when we use to hunt together at Black River. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Leon was not like a brother to me he was my brother. We worked together on a daily basis for the last 5 years . He was the kind of man who if he said hook a flea to a wagon and he would pull it , you just hook 'em up and thats that. Godspeed Leon ,Godspeed ,I love you man.

I will never forget the friendship I had with Leon (Mac) That started back in 1989 when I worked for Coke in Kingstree. After I left Coke, Leon would go out of his way to speak if he saw me around town. He will not be forgotten.
