Leon Everleth Obituary

Rev. Leon Everleth HANAHAN - Rev. Leon (Lee) Everleth, 88, of Hanahan, SC, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of May 3, 2021. He was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY. He served in the US Navy. In 1957, he married his wife of 64 years, Judith (Delong) Everleth. He was a loving husband, father, and pastor. He was an ordained Elder in The Church of the Nazarene and served churches in Ohio, Washington, California, Kentucky, Texas, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Florida. He loved to sing and he loved people. His beautiful and distinctive voice ministered to so many for over 65 years. He is survived by his wife, Judith, daughters, Julee Everleth White and Lorilee Everleth. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eric Hnatko (Meghan), Ethan Cnossen (Allison), Taylor Cnossen, and Kyle Hnatko as well as his great-granddaughter, Rylee Cnossen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Charleston First Church of the Nazarene 1055 Yeaman's Hall Rd, Hanahan, at 2 pm.
