Leo Fary Obituary

FARY, Leo Asa Leo Asa Fary, age 84, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Charlotte, NC, died at his home, July 27, 2006. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 30, 2006 at three o'clock in All Saints Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Entombment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. ARRANGEMENTS BY, J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Leo was born on July 2, 1922 in Eatontown, NJ. He resided in Fair Haven, NJ before moving to Mt. Pleasant, SC and Charlotte, NC. Leo graduated from Long Branch High School; served in the U.S.Navy as a photographer during World War II. He continued in the field of photography with the U.S. Government at Fort Monmouth retiring after forty years. His wife of fifty years, Ann, survives him. He was the beloved father of Jacquelyn Jarnigan and her husband, Brad of Charlotte, NC; Leo A. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; David J. and his wife, Kristen of Atlanta, GA; and Poppy to Asa, Katie, Grace, Paige, Jack, Mary Ann and Chase. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margarita, his father, Asa, sister, Ruth DeFazio, and daughter, Caroline Ann Fary.
