Lena D'Amato Obituary

Braintree Lena R. "Auntie" (Tricomi) D'Amato, 95, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the John Scott Nursing Home in Braintree. Born in Philadelphia, PA. Lena was raised and had been a life long resident of Braintree. She loved bowling the Red Sox and playing bingo. Beloved wife of the late Amadeo D'Amato. Loving sister of Victor Tricomi of FL, John Tricomi of Roslindale and Margaret Varraso of Braintree. Dear aunt of Phyllis Canale of Braintree, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Braintree, Monday, February 11 at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Francis Assisi Church, S. Braintree Square at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home, Sunday 4-7 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the MA Commission for the Blind, 88 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116 or St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund, 856 Washington Street, Braintree, MA 02184.
