Leila Lane Obituary

Leila Odell Poston Lane N. CHARLESTON - Leila Odell Poston Lane, age 84 of N. Chas, SC entered into eternal rest at home on May 28, 2018. Mrs. Lane was born July 31, 1933 in New York to Leon L. Poston and Odell Poston Johnson, both deceased. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Lane, Sr., a grandson, Donnie Beckham and two sisters, Barbara Daley and Shirley Fox. She has one surviving sister, Marjory Whittle. She is also survived by her five children Linda Beckham (Donald), Carol Craig (Douglas), Candy Stokes (Michael), Robert Lane, Jr. (Cheryl) and David Lane (Jeannie). Mrs. Lane was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children. She was a great support for her family and would end every phone conversation by asking, "Is there anything I can do for you?" Mrs. Lane was a member of Old Fort Baptist church and enjoyed playing Bingo regularly. She will be forever missed. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston
