LeElla Bennett Obituary

BENNETT, LeElla LeElla Graham Bennett, 77, of Bonneau Beach, SC, wife of Russell L. Bennett, died Thursday afternoon in a Summerville hospital. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday afternoon, Nov. 11, 2007, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the hour of service on SUNDAY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Moultrie Fire Department, C/O Charles Barton, 113 Chapel Hill Drive, Bonneau, SC 29431. Mrs. Bennett was born June 16, 1930, in Leesville, SC, a daughter of Herbert Graham and Willie Lois Smith Graham Hill. She was a graduate of Chicora High School. Mrs. Bennett loved her family. She also enjoyed bird watching, nature, and the lake. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank H. Graham. Mrs. Bennett's family would like to send a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and caretakers on the third floor of Summerville Medical Center for their outstanding care. Surviving are, her husband, a daughter, Leisa Kaye Golding of Reno, NV; a son, Brian R. Bennett and his wife, Kathy, of Kingsport, TN; a former daughter-in-law, Handajani A. Bennett of Lexington, SC; a sister, Elvene Graham Wells of North Charleston; four grandchildren, Crystal Stocking and her husband, Ryan, Briani Bennett, Michael Bennett, and Stephen Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.
