I miss her still, and I think of her often.

Lee Ann and I were dear friends throughout college, and ever after. We stayed in touch through the antiquated form of handwritten letters, but we loved it. We kept up with each other's lives, thoughts, we exchanged gifts every birthday and Christmas. Hers was a spirit whose light will never go out for those who knew and loved her.

Lee was the first person who made me feel powerful as a scared teenager. You let me be one of the founding members of the Red Ribbon Players 20 years ago -- I was armed with knowledge and a kindness that couldn't help itself. Thank you, Lee. I will always love you dearly.

I can't express how deeply I will miss my dear friend Lee Ann Barrett. We have been friends for 28 years. We have always managed to stay in touch and pick up right where we left off. Everett and I will dearly miss you. You are such a kind and generous soul. I am sure that the Lord brought you home as he needed you there to make heaven a little more beautiful. You are loved.

My Grandma, Ella and I just got to know Lee a few months ago at Royal Oaks. She "adopted" my Grandma who is 94. Miss Lee had a heart that was made of pure gold. We will miss you at Bingo! We love you! Rest in Peace.

Went to school with Lee Ann and we were friends when she lived in Jericho s.c. with her Mom. She was a very sweet person always willing to help anyone. She was a blessing to everyone that knew her. So sorry for your loss.
