Lawrence Grover Jameson Summerville - Lawrence Grover Jameson, 95, of Summerville, husband of Dorothy Weber Jameson, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Funeral Services will be Saturday morning, September 30, 2017 at 11 o'clock at St. Luke's Lutheran Chapel. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 o'clock until the time of service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville SC 29483 or Meals on Wheels, 111 Waring Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Lawrence was born April 11, 1922 in St. George, SC, the son of the late Lawrence Grover Jameson and Pearl Kizer Jameson. He retired as an electrician with Westvaco and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the US Army. In addition to his wife, Dorothy Jameson, Lawrence leaves behind his son, L.G. "Larry" Jameson, Jr. (Pamela); daughter, Annette Taylor (Jeffrey), all of Summerville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
