Dear Mildred and all:
I was so sorry I could not be with you all today and during the past few days. I cannot express to you enough my deep grief for the loss of "My favoritite Uncle Lawrence" as I always called him. He was such a kind and gentle soul always finding ways to make us smile. He will always be in my heart as are you all.

As a family we have always been able to find strength through the deep love we have for each other. Never a time in my life have I not known that it is family that makes us the people we are and it is our good fortune to be a part of it all.

Mildred you are such a special person and the example of your life and faith with your marriage and family life are what makes it all worthwhile. Please now that we are all here for you in any way possible.

Trust that you are in my prayers and my heart through these days ahead and know that Lawrence will always be there looking out for each one of you whom he dearly loved.
With Much Love

To the family of Larry Dodds,
Please accept my deepest symphathy. Mr. Dodds was the greatest supervisor ever. I was his assistant from 1974 til his retirement in 1978. He was a true blessing to everyone he came in contact with. I will surely miss him very much. All my love to your family.

Uncle Lawrence
As my Godfather you were always special to me, but as an uncle you always made me feel like I was special to you. You fought hard for your country and I always bragged about my uncle who was still having schrapnal removed from his body so many years after the war. I was also very proud when I would tell my coworkers at the shipyard that my uncle Lawrence was the head Electrical Engineer (Code-270) for surface craft for the whole shipyard. Goodby Uncle Lawrence, I'll miss you.
