Laura Caroline "Carol" Ragsdale Charleston - Laura Caroline "Carol" Ragsdale, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Thomas Smith Ragsdale, Jr., entered into eternal rest Friday, May 18, 2018. Her graveside service will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 in Lake City Memorial Park, 522 W. Main Street, Lake City, SC, 29560 at 1:00 P.M. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Carol was born December 25, 1928 in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late Harry Charles Schall and Caroline Humphrey Schall. She was a graduate of Ashley Hall and attended Holton-Arms School in Washington, D.C. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Smith Ragsdale III (Suzy) and Charles Schall Ragsdale (Emily); son-in-law, Charles Ernest Reutter, III; ten grandchildren, Thomas S.Ragsdale (Agnes) Harry V. Ragsdale (Sara) Laura R. Brown (Michael), Samuel M. Little (Carrie), Martin B Little, E. Kirkland Darby, C. Schall Ragsdale, Emily M. Ragsdale, Charles E. Reutter, Richard R. Reutter (Cole); four great-grandchildren, Clara C. Ragsdale, T. Smith Ragsdale, Sally R.W. Ragsdale, and Benjamin M. Little. Carol was predeceased by her husband and her daughter, Caroline Humphrey Reutter. Memorials may be made to Lake City Presbyterian Church, 300 E.
