NELSON, Laura Mae Laura Mae Smith Nelson, 65, of Myrtle Beach, wife of William Bill Nelson, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at her residence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Wednesday evening, November 9, 2005, from 6 until 8 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville, SC. Mrs. Nelson's funeral will be held Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 3:00pm at The James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow at Plantation Memory Gardens in Moncks Corner. Mrs. Nelson was born October 31, 1940 in Erie, IL, daughter of the late Eugene Smith and Lillian Blough Smith. She was the owner/operator of Nelson Marketing Research in Ladson and was a former member of A Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church and Advent Evangelica Lutheran Church of North Charleston. Survivors include her husband, Bill of Myrtle Beach, two sons; Rodney D. Nelson and Scott L. Nelson of Myrtle Beach, one daughter; Melodie A. Taulman (Raymond) of McDonough, GA, one sister; Darlene Myers of Omaha, NE, two grandchildren; Shannon Blondell (Aaron) of Sumter, SC and Sean Taulman of McDonough, GA and one great grandchild; Natalie Blondell of Sumter, SC.
